Objects are powerful- they hold history, memories, experiences, and culture. The objects in our home are particularly vital as they are things we interact with in a very intimate way. The art I create exhibits these home objects as portraits in order to show their personality and importance. The arrangement of multiple images collaged together to create on big piece symbolizes the idea that countless objects come together to create our home environment. Ultimately, my art helps the viewer feel validated, have a sense of comfortability, and is encouraged to live intentionally as different home imagery is portrayed in a positive way.
