Peace Throughout Stress
Artist Statement
​
This work explores the calmness amongst crazy, peace throughout stressful environments or situations. This can be a good reminder that with a certain mindset, we can have grace in all happenings, no matter the stress level.
​
This work conveys a sort of peace or calmness in the figure, while the rest of the piece is busy/uncomfortable/unsettling/a lot of take in. this is related to many of those who feel like they are on the stress spectrum every day, with all of the hustling and bustling a day can bring. The level of energy is still soft but also rhythmic and moving, showing the contrast and the ever-changing nature of stress.
